Very true! i have pre-ordered the set of Capt John, Ianto, Tosh & the Blowfish from ScifiCollectors and now that the individual ones have come up on Forbidden Planet, have pre-ordered 2 for US mates.. :D

Recently to my delight, i managed to obtain a 12" human Spike AND a 12" Subway Spike [didn't know they made one!] for very reasonable prices from Ebay. i have three Spike 6" action figures [Punk, Season 5 & the blue t-shirt Spike from 'Beneath You', which i've had for a while now. i've got Spike's Johnny Lightning Black DeSoto too!

They were joined this year by the two Angel assassins from Dr Who's 'Blink', a Dalek, Capt Jack, Cyberman, Scarecrow, Mechanical Man [from the Madam La Pompadour epi] and a rather splendid Werewolf! i got such a good deal on the Dalek, Cyberman, Werewolf & Scarecrow @ £1 each [damaged packaging!] and £3.50 for the Mechanical Man [the one where wig & mask come off] from Forbidden Planet, that i simply couldn't resist them.
The 'Blink' Angels were from Ebay and very reasonable too [don't remember what they were, but pretty cheap]. The only one i paid full price for was Capt Jack and at £5.99, i thought he was quite reasonable.

i try to resist such little goodies [i HATE dusting!] but sometimes succomb to temptation! i built up quite a little collection of 'Star Wars' robots & drones and a nifty Boba Fett that i gave them all to James - told him the Boba Fett was for him and he could fight Sullivan for the rest! He was stoked and much amused by the comment!

i have two other figures that i have had for MANY years, R2D2 [that was a bubblebath!] and a 5" Robbie the Robot [from the film 'Forbidden Planet'] - i didn't buy either of them from FP shop but in Australia.

It's amazing what you collect, isn't it? i actually have a tiny 1" plastic standup of Tenth Dr Who; a tiny full length picture that mirrors the full size one you can buy now! Too cute for words!

You are the bestest *smooches*

I have quite a collection of X-Files figures and Buffy/Angel figures and Deep Space 9 figures and now Dr. Who figures. My house looks like a toy shop. LOL.

LOL i know what you mean! i have little bunches of figures popping up all over the place. My will power is shit when i comes to James...

i've pruned my figures ruthlessly over the last couple of years but i'm collecting again - i'm a packrat at heart obviously!

Take care, petal!
