 Hiya!  *waves enthusiastically*

Just popped in to give you the link for a report on Jeanne Stein's blog, done by a buddy of her's, Kris Bochum.  Jeanne is a very talented new writer of the paranormal variety and i have a couple of her books.
http://biting-edge.blogspot.com/2008/04/as-promisedfirst-hand-report-from-my.html
The report has a couple of pics and a link to more from photographer Christina Radish.   Kris is a fan of 'Buffy' but not particularly of James Marsters, although there are a couple of pics of him, with all the other participants.  It is interesting from a fan's point of view and particularly her comments about audience.

Looking out of the window - lots of sunshine, lots of cloud and a strong wind blowing it all about.  It's on the cool side and i'm going to wrap up when i go down and pick up a newspaper and post my letters.

I'm looking forward to reports and pics from Grand Slam, Burbank, with great anticipation and pleasure...  i'll content myself with listening to some more of James' velvet tones on the next disc of 'Small Favor' until then... *sighs happily*   Two weeks until i see him at the Rift!!  *fingers crossed all goes well and no problems*

Have a great weekend, y'all!

Thanks for the mention! I didn't know about this blog site, but I'll certainly be checking back. As I'm sure you know, James will be at DragonCon again this year. Last year I tried in vain to see him, I was hopping back and forth between the Decatur Book Festival and DragonCon. This year it will be all DragonCon so I plan to stalk--er--look for him all weekend!

Best, Jeanne

Goddess, a reply from Herself!! i am not worthy!

i'm delighted to be able to spread the word about your excellent books - always a delight to discover a new author. All the best ones are natural storytellers and you are certainly that; keep writing, petal!

My latest find is Carrie Vaughn and i'm working my way through the Kitty books at the moment - gotta read something until your next book comes out!

Yes, as you can tell by my nom-de-plume, i'm an avid and long-time admirer of James. i'm only sorry i can't fly over the pond and do DragonCon, although i'd love to. i've wanted to go for quite a while but my finances won't permit it.
i hope you get to see - and meet James, if you haven't already. If not, you are in for a treat; he really is one of the most genuine men i have ever met and a 'real' person.
Ok, i'm biased but he is as approachable as he is gorgeous... and i'm looking forward to seeing him again, over here on the 26th April at 'The Rift' and the other events he has planned while in the UK.
Thanks for the comment and i'll be keeping an eye on your blogspot in the future.
Regards,
Jill

i'm on 'Kitty goes to Washington' but i have the others already lined up! with Jim Butcher & J.D. Robb's latest, up next. i'm also a huge Charlaine Harris fan [i love all of hers', but 'Lily Bard' best] and of course, Madam Noir herself, Laurell Hamilton. i love the were-cats in both...

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for August and will post my photos with James on my LJ - and John Barrowman, who is due to attend Collectormania13 beginning of May too!
Such riches...

Take care,
