Rainy Sunday...

More fashion, don't ask me why...  i saw these from a new designer, to me, Elie Saab and i have to say i loved them all...  *don't faint*  Black & white patterns are witty, clever and the colours are sensational - guess which colour is my favourite?

The last two are from Galliano's show - apologies for including the trollop in the froo-froo dress (i can't work out if she is wearing orange shorts or it is part of the fabric, in which case i don't think she is wearing knickers - but shoes to die for....  My favourite colour?  The red sparkly number, closely followed by the sea green;  just yummy!

Checking up outfits for the Jamesy events after your weightloss? LOL!

I like the darkred and dark blue ones best. The shoes? Bwahahaa!! I don´t so high heels, but I guess they´re nice with the right 10 000£ outfits! Can you imagine you sweeping the floors in those shoes? Hmmm...

Rainy day? We have had so wonderful weather for 3 days, I haven´t got much done on the computer. I just want to be outdoors and snap photos and stroll around with Bonnie.

Tomorrow we are supposed to get rain, that means more Photoshopping I guess. And I´ll have to start working on the photos I have snapped the last 3 days + London pics again. There´s 4000 left to get through. I don´t mind at all. Guess I´ll have to get more storage space at PBase soon. OR remove some of my photos, which I really don´t want to do.

Working the last nigh shift now, then 2 days off, 4 days of fill-in shifts and then 6 days off again.

Might get something done at home, laundry, waterchanges in the fishtanks, fix the balcony for the summer. Have to wait until the fur trees has bloomed out, everything gets yellow because of the pollen from them. So no use scrubbing the balcony ´till they´re done.

I feel really bad for not uploading pics today, but it´s the first day I´ve skipped since coming home from London, so I should be excused, right?

I did edit pics yesterday, secret project. Will tell later, parhaps...

Gad yes, i wish i could afford some of these little numbers! i think they come under the 'if-you-have-to-ask-how-much-it-is-you-can't-afford-it' category... lol i don't think i have ever seen you in a skirt!!
i can't do heels at all any more, i get cramp in left leg but you wouldn't wear them for ordinary everyday anyway. These are serious party shoes or for women who don't work!
Just keep doing a few pics a day, i'll be happy...
Good luck with the project whatever it is!
Take care,

I wear dresses and skirts all summer, promise! Hmm, there´s a pic of me in a dress on the HD...
On the cocktailparty at Queen Mary I wear a dress, for the photo op too I think. But I´m not freezing my ass off in a skirt in the winter, those women who do are nuts. Remember the -20 celsius we sometimes have in the winter. I never have heels higher than 5-7 cm, those are hard enough to manouver.

I SO want to edit pics, I just love it and feel bad when there´s no time (and 4500 pics to play with)

I don´t know if the "project" leads anywhere, we´ll see. Nothing major, but fun.

Hugs, Ulla

i'll believe you! Just i've never seen you in one is all.
i wear trousers a lot as it's like you say, warmer in winter etc but do wear skirts & dresses in summer. Travelling i wear what is easiest - if i'm flying any distance, i usually wear a long black dress but depends on if i have to climb in and out of things, like taxis etc. Simpler sometimes to wear trousers or jeans.
i have enjoyed getting back into jeans, i must admit, although i am borderline as to whether i actually ought to! i do like the long wearing aspect of them too. i am likely to wear my current jeans until i loose a LOT more weight, before i splash out and buy smaller ones. i can see money being a problem too but i'm hoping not. Fingers crossed.

Killer shoes. I would fall on my face if I wore them though. LOL.

I like the midnight blue. *sigh*

LOL You have to train to wear these, i think! i could see you in the midnight one, good colour...

i've always had to be very selective in what i wore, sticking to classic styles as they were never designed for hourglass figure i had back in the day! i could have worn the green, red or long blue okay but the others would have looked wrong on me, need a more slender outline for those babies...

Hi,
I have to tell you that Elie is actually a man !! Don't worry, you aren't the first person to have mistaken his name for a woman's...
I've left you a link to his website in my reply to your comment on my journal !!

The orange shoes that the model is wearing are different to the ones you have the close-up picture of - the ones she is wearing have been sneakily copied by Carvela, and are on sale where I work, in Peter Jones dept. Store...and have been used in my last Fashion Accessories Window Display !!

Um, thank you for telling me twice Elie Saab is a man and thank you for the link.
What orange shoes? i was only looking at the rust ones in the close-up and the red shoes worn by the model and i meant Galliano's show, not that he made them - but nice to know we appreciate the same shoes. Congratulations on your Window btw.

Sorry, I didn't mean to , but I replied over on my journal first, then came here to read what you had written...then I talked about the shoes here and then had a thought that you may not necessarily read my reply over there...oh how complicated !! Anyway, suffice to say, that your little piece was entertaining and you should do it again !! It's always interesting to read what other people think of these fashion creations...
