Laissez-faire blog

You may recall i subscribe to Laissez-faire's blog and occasionally re-post some of the items that catch my creative eye, as have the following playhouse for kitties [they'd love it even more if it had some crumpled brown paper around it!], Hidden spaces and imaginative seating that you can store easily

Damn, that wind is COLD this morning!  There was a frost so thick, i had to look twice to make sure it wasn't snow.  On the plus side, it looks as though the bin men have had the Word and have come into the Scheme at our side and emptied them and put them back!   Thank you, guys!  Roy one of our more able-bodied, and willing, residents has been doing it but only because he wanted to help.  However, he isn't getting any younger and i'm not putting them out again, while he is away for his holidays - 'specially as he's gone for 10 weeks!  Lucky sod.  Now all i have to do is stop the drunken sod in 102 from moving the damn blue bins!

i have to go out in that wind, regretfully as one of my crowns is about to drop out again.  Curses on front tooth crowns with tenuous roots!

i had a look at the long range forecast for this coming weekend and Saturday could be the better day - good, as we'll be queuing for the concert.  Cloudy with showers though for both days and getting worse.  Temperatures of 11-12C during the day and down to around 9C at night, they say.  i reckon it will most likely be a lot colder but it depends on how thick the cloud is.  Mind you, this is a James Visit - we could get flash floods!!  Gods forbid!
Safe travel to all attending - and those poor sods trekking to CamberSands on Friday?  It's going to chuck it down, guys...  Take care, everyone!

Space! Glorious. I hanker for an NY loft with HUGE floor space and high ceilings. :) Lol at Camber Sands. They won't be bothered...it's James! Hope the crown help up. We had snow but it's just white out now and not too chilly. Lol at the drunken sot ;) why does he keep moving the blue bin?

Dear Ditto

Your post turned up as an anonymous but i guessed it was you!
i'm not sure why the Drunk moves the bins but i suspect it is because he thinks either 1) they don't need that many in that part of the Scheme [there are three bin places] or 2) there isn't enough room - there is actually! But it is tight... :D
