It's turning out to be that kind of damn day!
Last night, milk went sour after the shops shut. Out early this am for more for breakfast; also needed eggs and pick-up prescription at the chemists. Chemist first - no pills and they couldn't find the prescription. Damnation! Got the milk & eggs, then down to Drs to check. The prescription had been collected yesterday afternoon by chemist's driver. Double damnation!
Back to chemist, who turned shop upsidedown but no presc. i sat while they rang the other branches; maybe the temp driver had taken it to wrong one. No, neither branch could find it - maybe still in the damn van! My chemist are nice people and they promised me they would deliver my tablets later this afternoon.
Home to refuel! Fabulous Kenyan coffee and a delicious crispy bacon & fried tomato sandwich - balance of the Universe restored!

Anyway I'm glad you got all your meds w/out any more problems....
And I just saw this linked on twitter, were there a lot of scalpers at the Olympics? http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/2d26100ce3/the-olympic-ticket-scalper-with-patrick-stewart-ryan-lochte-simon-pegg-maisie-williams
Yes, i saw Sir Pat's bit of indulgence :) And no, haven't heard any thing about scalpers. They may have been some metaphorically skulking in the bushes near the main stadium but from what i hear they weren't easy to replicate. Nobody offered us any anyway!
I guess my fondness for pandas came from the years I worked in Washington, DC where hoping the pandas in the Washington Zoo would successfully mate was always a major news story followed by everyone in both political parties.
I bought a ticket (WAY over priced) for the US Open Tennis Tournament from a scalper once... I had gotten a really good deal on most of my tickets, but at the last minute I had a chance to go a day early, and I REALLY wanted to get in!
I can't really regret it, I had a fantastic day.
