Ready at last!!

FINALLY!  It has taken me ages to sort out the reconnection problems with upgrading to Windows7.  It's been so long since i had to dig out my accounts/passwords book, i had forgotten some of them and i lost all my Favourites [will have to start again on that, much irritating but it probably won't take me long to build it again].  Ditto with sorting new email details on my ISP but i think i've cracked it.  i'm on Windows Live Mail now.  It's been like riding a regular bike when you've only had a penny-farthing!  i don't like the layout much but i'll see what i can do with it later. Luckily, i managed to keep my Address Book.  *breathes big sigh of relief*  But it's a good day!  :D

i truly HATE Internet Explorer as it has never worked properly and seems to hate me.  Indeed, on pages where i have never had problems, IE would report a problem with the page and simply not connect me or only show half of it, rendering it totally useless.  Bloody thing... Since this was a new system upgrade, i had given IE a go to see if it had improved - NO!  i stopped grinding my teeth and downloaded Mozilla Firefox again.  Touch wood, smooth sailing so far!  Now all i have left to do is sort out the sound system - need male plug.  i'll see if i have an adapter i can use.  Then, my darlings, i can take a deep breath and enjoy learning what else Windows7 - Ultimate - can do for me.

This new computer had LOADS of RAM [over 400GB] and my entire old XP [74GB] is now Drive G: - amazing...  Unlike you, dear Ulla, i only have one external drive with my pictures on it.  i will probably put the rest of 2012 on it - Vampire Ball & Midnight Con - then start 2013 on here, which will keep it neat & tidy.

Let's see how easily i can attach a couple of pictures, eh?  Good, it still works but only posting one at a time, inspite of it saying multiple images.  i can get them into the box but it doesn't post them. So one at a time.  i like the recycling idea, saves waste... and clever too.  i especially like the suitcases :)

I love the bath! The suitcases are very stylish too.

Enjoy Windows 7 - I rather like it. Chrome is a good alternative browser too.

yes, i loved the bath, and the rake!
Problem with browsers is that there are so many of them - i have a choice of AVG, Google, Bing and i have Chrome on here too!

Oh I love these photos... very cool. And I think you'll enjoy firefox, it is a good alternative to internet explorer! Also Google Chrome is better than IE, and Opera works better.... AND OmniWeb (that is to say that everything works better than internet explorer! LOL).
I have an iMac so I usually use safari... which is really very good except for Flash problems on some websites.

Thanks! i like recycling. i've had Firefox before, so happy with that. See, this is my point SO many things on offer; can be quite confusing to pick just one. Thanks for the advice :)
