Still snow around but not snowing today

Hasn't snowed so far today, though i'm told its due tomorrow and possible much higher temperatures over the weekend, with maybe some rain on Sunday. This was Tuesday - terrific 'frozen art statue'.  The second picture didn't come out as well as i'd hoped, that little white dot in the centre of the sky, is the moon.  As for those super keen types playing rugby, all i can say is that they must have asbestos knees!
When the auroras cover such a large area - admittedly this is over Antarctia, seen from the International Space Station - but the Northern ones are huge too; why then can't we see them much further away?

i feel sorry for my postie - he always seems to catch me just as i'm about to get dressed and am still in my dressingown!  Poor man viewing this old wreck, saggy & baggy and hair not brushed... i always say thank you when he passes over my post [stuff that is too thick to go through the letter slot] but try to remember to smile warmly without bearing my teeth - i don't have my bridge in either!  My Twenty Four Hour Woman calendar by Scott Lenhardt came today.  i think it's really cute... :D

i zipped up to put in a prescription at the Drs surgery, post a parcel off to Inky and buy some eggs.  All of which i did and also went looking for more the Kenco Millicano coffee sachets; real coffee in instant form.  Didn't find any but the little local Tesco mini store was having a sale on Haagen Das icecream... got some pate [sorry no accents on my keyboard] and had it with toast for lunch when i got home.  :D

i love ETSY for many reasons but there are so many wonderfully creative people offering their wares!

yeah I guess that etsy is the happening website for selling stuff. When I draw my own greeting cards I have them printed at Cafe Press because they have always turned out such a nice product... But no one ever sees my work, so I'm not sure it is a good place to sell anything. So I suppose if I was ever really serious about selling anything I should check out etsy.

Did you go there hunting for a calendar, or had you received the link from someone?
(Just curious)
