Armoury & Horse Parade at the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge

i saw a picture from the 1st morning parade posted on Facebook and it spurred me onto going down and seeing for myself.  It was only one man and his horse regretfully, but it made a brave show on a very damp and uninspired day.  He was pretty accurate on the armour, except his feet which would also be covered in metal. He rode round twice, before stopping to collect the children who had made cardboard helms, swords etc and a couple of banners and then leading them round again before departing.  The kids and me, loved it.Collapse )
