Concert, London : 2 May 2007
Due to public demand, James has added a final gig to his forthcoming UK Spring Fever trip with an intimate warm-up concert in the heart of London's West End on Wednesday, May 2.
120 tickets will be available for this close-up gig and first chance (from 23 Jan) will go to the small number of fans who had to be refunded because of over-sales on the Spring Fever event. All other tickets will go on sale from the website at 1pm UK time on Sunday 28th January. Further details of venue and seating will be available at this time.
Due to the nature of the venue we will need to know in advance if anyone requires wheelchair access.
Mmmmmmmmmm, am i the only one uncharitable enough to think 'hope the people who had to be refunded from the over-selling of ticket on the 3rd May, don't try and claim multiple tickets'?  [some will for sure] *Sounds as though JLM kept the refunded orders*
Boy, that 'small number' must have been a LOT to help instigate this!!  While i am glad they will get a second and confirmed bite at the cherry - are they going to get the front seats?  No fair on the rest of the applicants if so;  no matter how quick you are, you won't get front/second/how-many-rows-back seats??   Just how many will there be left?
No way to judge the size of the venue yet.
i am delighted to hear there will be another gig and i only want to be happy this is being put on for some of us, not irritated - But no indication is given again as to HOW MUCH the tickets will be... or where.   They know both pieces of information now, so why is it such a friggin' secret?!!  Because it will be 'first contact' before the people paying £110 for the next day/night, a whole lot cheaper even if only for a shorter duration??
Must be difficult to get in and out, restricted wheelchair access...
The number is 10 less than the following day/night... for this "intimate warm-up concert"...[he can come and sit on the end of my bed and practice, if he likes] - should be easier to sell out, always difficult on a week night.   Not helpful for people who will be working tho - depending on what time it starts.  Good for those who will come in early for the weekend stuff or who live in London but if you want to come from further away?  *shakes head*  You might make it in time to hear James, [he always seems to start late, no matter where he is, bless him! Not a problem if you can sit, but hell if you have to stand...], although you will probably be at the back, if it is free seating or standing...
Wish they'd take this down from the JMLive site "No other events are currently planned for Spring Fever" - it's such a silly thing to say...

Yeah, i'm a cynical, pessimistic, nasty minded bitch...
what else is new? or i'm a hard-to-please bloody idiot?   take your pick...  Just don't try and tell me nobody else has any of these thoughts going through their heads....  Nice people don't think this?  yes, they do - they just don't say it out loud...

i'm off to bed, with visions of sugar-plum James dancing in my head *snort*
*blows kisses*

ETA:  Buffymon posts on MOZ that she has been offered her tickets by email from JML and are £30 each... Not saying on the website though - Do they say where?

Trying for another?
Not sure at the moment but probably... Don't see why i should miss out on one second of/with James... It's not as though i can sit and talk with him for hours, is it?!! *feels faint at the thought..*
This multiple ticket thing has always been a problem.
i take it you will be giving it a go as you will be in London too?

Re: Trying for another?
Cool, hope we both get one!

Let's see if she has her computer back by then... she might be able to do it herself but you're sweet to think of her and i'm sure she would say yes, if it still hasn't come back.

Hey, it's snowing! First of the season for me...

Re: Trying for another?
She got your message and mine, but you have probably heard from her yourself by now. Anyhow, we spoke a little earlier before she zoomed out to the shops on her way to work.
She has her fingers crossed about 'puter before Friday but she is delighted you have offered to help out with her ticket. "Bugger!" she cried, "I was afraid something would happen while I was offline!"
i suggested both you AND I go for two tickets, thus doubling our chances of getting her one [we would not have a problem selling the extra, whoever got it, y'know?]- not that we are guaranteed to get them either!! Depends on how many are left over after the 'refunders' - you agree?

It would be nice if they let people who DID NOT get one of the other tickets have first crack at these tickets. As someone who didn't get one of the other tickets (I was on vacation when they went on sale), I would like to think I had a shot at getting one of these without having to beat out people who already had tickets.

i'll cross my fingers for you!
If you will be in London then, you go for it, girl!!!
Lets just hope there will be enough left over from the 'refunded ones' to make it worthwhile...

I'm really disappointed because the Friday gig which is what I've got tickets for is actually going to be incredibly difficult for me to get to, and I'm getting to the point where I've pretty much decided that I won't be able to get there with work only ending at 5pm.

So this Wednesday thing sounds absolutely ideal - I have the whole of Wednesday off that week!! But I really don't hold out a lot of hope of getting a ticket as there are going to be so many people going... I'll have a try though.

At least it will benefit someone like yourself, being a weeknight concert... if there are more like you, this is good - see, this is what i was saying about putting stuff on during the week... it can be VERY difficult for commuters [and those who have to get time off] - to say nothing of folks who need to find babysitters etc etc..

i REALLY hope you manage to get one, sugar!! Will you try selling your Friday one?

I'll try for a Wednesday, and if I can get it I may hold onto the Friday too.... but I'll know better nearer the time I think ;)

Wheelchair Access
I would like to introduce to you a unique wheelchair lift system http://www.wheelchairaccess.co.uk from Sesame Access Systems.

The System is imbedded into a staircase turning them into a retracting set of stairs that reveal a platform lift for wheelchair access. These stairs can be clad in the same existing material or whatever material the customer requires, from carpet to marble. Internal/External access, perfect even for listed buildings.

Please have a look at their web site at http://www.wheelchairaccess.co.uk for more details on the Sesame System.

If you would like Sesames Technical Information Pack for your records please visit this page http://www.wheelchairaccess.co.uk/tech.html

I hope this information can be of some use to you.

Thank you.
