The Man is probably here already... or in Germany...  *wishes him well, very well..*  i hope she comes with him and keeps his toes warm...

i have had a productive day today... sorta...   but i'm running round like a blue-arsed fly, mentally and online...  Did a couple of job applications & sent off online...
*note to self - make sure the camera batteries are charged*
Had a good natter with Lynnie last night, always a pleasure... and an online with Susie today...  we're planning to go up Friday night after Union Chapel and any after-do...   So checked the train times again to Milton Keynes from Friday night to Saturday morning - we can catch the 00.34 and it takes about an hour from Euston.   i treated myself to an Oyster card, we can 'tube' & bus around on that, nice...  Must check the last times on the tube for Friday... otherwise it's a cab, NOT, on Friday night traffic's murder...   *Hmmm, yes... can do, Victoria line from Highbury to Euston takes about 3-5 mins., run 'frequently' to after midnight.. cab from Hotel to underground?  sounds right...  Checks tube from Kings Cross to Angel for Wednesday too - yes, that's ok, get 38 [& 58?] Bus up Essex Road, Ockenden Road stop, then short walk pretty much across road...*
*another note to self - ring MK Hotel and let them know we will be late, otherwise they will mark us as a no-show*

Lunchtime, took my repeat prescription in to be filled, check... it's due on Sunday but need to have 48 hours to get it done - told chemist why...  Pick up on Tuesday...   Used some precious cash to buy bread, milk, oil & a cooked chook - to last me to Tuesday night...
*pack bottle opener and those two bottles of red*  Been told the drinks are pricey for the CM parties... so may even drink them there! but i am thinking of our room parties mostly...  Sue, me, Lynnie & Patti sat up all night, laughing exorbitantly, on the last night of Word's & Music...  We had Lynnie's SBBear with us, what a hoot!  Wait till they get an eyeful of Cousin Grizz!!  Lynnie has already.. He's a Big boy!

Just about to go sort some dinner;  Landlord rang...  Will i show another person the vacant room??  i said laughing, i will have to charge you soon!   Young Hungarians, quite nice...  they liked the room but need to move fast, she said - mmm, why, i wonder?  Anyway, i doubt if it will happen that fast as they need to do the reference bit with the credit check etc...

Had to smile, checking over my medical kit, found £1.55 in change in the bottom!  no idea how...  *falls about laughing*
Vacuumed and mopped floor, finally...  nice and clean to go away next week...

i'm watching the Great British cook-off at the moment, the Irish contingent on this week - Corrigan's ok but the new guy's pretty up himself...   Then as a complete contrast later, watched the Hairy Bikers Return!  love those guys, always make me laugh - and great food...  Tonight they were in Marrakech and they had such fun and so did i...  when one of them put on a parody of a belly dancer for an after-dinner laugh, i nearly fell off the bed!  *wipes eyes*
Ray Stevenson's "Life Line" second part was on tonight - i actually saw him on the Loose Women programme when i was having lunch, talking about it [he enjoyed them calling him 'great totty'] - missed the first part but the second bit was very good and i LOVED the ending - but then i do have a pretty dark sense of humour...   i really enjoyed him in "Rome", best of all the characters...
Ooops, nearly half past one again....
Got the 13-week interview with Jobcentre tomorrow, 'bout the same time...  what joy....
Sleep well, darling....

i wish you were coming too.. i will pass on your greetings to the Usual Suspects and spare you a thought as i sit waiting for the doors to open at Collectormania... The Door 14 Alumni will be there in force - Team Brit assembled in total this time. i actually get to wear MY t-shirt this time, cool... i'm going to wear it for one of my pics with James [and Lynnie - my Christmas present from her, nice one!].
Laura can't make it for personal reasons but the rest of the Sisterhood should be there!
Take care, sweetie

I like the way you can use the Oyster for tubes & buses... hellova lot easier!
Can't wait for our little guys to meet up! Shall i bring the boys to Soho?? Grizz will be right at home. The SBBs have such sweet little willies but CG is sumptn' else, dunno what James would make of HIM!!!

i'm so glad we are going to be together more this time... oh i know you & Lynnie were in LA & so on, but it will be the first time ALL of Team Brit will be together with the Door 14 Alumni, if you know what i mean.
Shame Kath has opted out...but she seems to be quite content to just be with her mates and no-one else... and that clap-trap in LA...well...she never did pay Jude for her t-shirt - can you believe that???

Canadian anthem? *falls about laughing* All i remember of that is a robust young man singing, "This is Canada!" in a loud voice... But i wouldn't be surprised if the boys loosen him up a bit...
If the Hotel staff are anywhere near as nice as the Mad Hatters, they would probably get a giggle out of it - i know i would!

The Man is probably here already... or in Germany... *wishes him well, very well..* i hope she comes with him and keeps his toes warm... Oh yes, hope so. Everybody needs their toes warming at least once in a while. We watched Casino Royale again today. He's the best Bond ever we think. Cracking film.

How funny! no sooner had i posted that than there was a James sighting in Germany!! So no surprises there... i bet he is grinning from ear to ear - just don't fight with her BEFORE she comes back here with you, James!

WHAT was that??!! Sorry, loud crash outside window... Just went to investigate - some lout just lobbed a vodka bottle into our courtyard! Smashed everywhere, of course, like an exploding grenade.
i'm leaving that for the landlord when he comes round on Monday, as i am not sure if it was the yobbos upstairs or next door. Y-U have chucked stuff out before 'cos i can hear it landing on my roof - their back windows overlook... i will pout until he does something.

Yay, James in Germany. Hope he's having a good time. Lol at the pout, I'm sure he won't be able to resist.
